Mobile Check Deposit advantages

Getting started with Mobile Check Deposit

To deposit a check with the Century Bank Mobile App:
  1. Make sure you signed the back of your check and write "For mobile deposit only"
  2. From the Century Bank Mobile App dashboard, tap “Deposit”
  3. Tap “Deposit a check”
  4. Enter the check amount and tap “Continue”
  5. Take a picture of the front of your check by taping the “capture” button and then select “Continue”
  6. Take a picture of the back of your check by taping the “capture” button and then select “Continue”
  7. Review the check amount and pictures of the front and back of your check, then tap “Submit”
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your deposit has been approved.

We advise all customers hold onto the original check until you verify the deposit has been credited to your account. After that, destroy the check by marking it “VOID” and shredding it.

Q: How long does it take for my deposit to appear in my account?
A: Checks deposited before 4 p.m. it will appear the following business day. Deposits made after 4 p.m. will appear in two business days.
Q: Is there a deposit limit?
A: Yes. For personal accounts the limit is $2,500 a day up to $10,000 a month. For business accounts the limit is $7,500 per day, up to $25,000 a month.
Q: What types of checks can be deposited with the Century Bank Mobile App?
A: Personal and business checks can be deposited with the Century Bank Mobile App.
Q: Are there any fees for using this service?
A: No. Mobile Check Deposit is free for all Century Bank customers with a checking or savings account.
Q: What happens if I make a mistake depositing my check?
A: As long as you retain the check, you can contact us or visit any branch to get things sorted out.
Q: Is Mobile Check Deposit secure?
A: Yes. When you deposit a check via the Century Bank Mobile App, the only thing that is different is who is taking the picture. Instead of a Bank Teller capturing your check image, you are.
